Congress Park School Brookfield, Illinois
Hi! We are first graders from Congress Park School. We have a smart, interesting, happy school family. Congress Park is in Cook County; Brookfield, IL. Our town is about 15 miles west of Chicago. There are 17 children in our class. Ms. Berry is our teacher. We call her Ms. B. We have children that speak English, Spanish and Polish in our class. It is winter here. Right now we are having VERY COLD weather. We have to wear heavy coats, scarves, gloves/mittens, hats, snow pants, and boots. Putting all these things in our closet is a big job and getting dressed to go home takes a long time. On Saturday it rained cats and dogs and was 64 degrees. It is snowing RIGHT THIS MINUTE! We hope we can go sledding and make a snowman later. We have math, reading, calendar, centers, art, music, library, and gym every week. We have a great science table with lots of interesting things on it. We love working on the computer. We are learning computer commands how and how to draw in Claris Works. Today we learned about e mail. This is our first e mail letter. It is exciting. MS Berry and the students at Congress Park School
